Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support (PBIS)

Montana's Department of Education has devoted much research and resources to helping schools with positive behavior.

Note: These MBI conferences are the top pick for the teachers at Lima...according to many informal staff room conversations.


The site gives examples from preforming schools...for example, this behavior expectations poster. Most files are either PDF or Word files and are all available for download.

Other schools are successful with encouraging positive behavior. The website is like a staff room for collecting each other's good ideas. Hopefully we'll all be great! =)



Our school basically encourages being respectful, responsible and safe. After that it's up to teachers how they would like to approach and organize that.
